Updates...

Please return fieldtrip forms for the Glenbow Ranch ASAP - We are going on Tuesday October 23rd!

Playing with Place Value

We played a math game today where students were challenged to make the biggest number possible from rolling a number of dice. This is an easy game to play at home using dice or cards. Challenge someone numbers at home to see who can make the biggest. You can extend this game by adding the numbers together or subtracting to find the difference.

Social Cues
We read a book about respecting personal space. We learned that everyone has a space bubble and everyone has a different amount of space they are comfortable in. We talked about making sure we are keeping our hands to ourselves and respecting each other's space.

Gearing up for Glenbow Ranch
We had a guest speaker give a presentation in the gym about how to make sure we are taking care of Glenbow Ranch when we visit there next week. We learned some interesting facts as well, like how it used to be a town, that one patch of grass gives off as much oxygen as an entire tree and how coyotes and badgers work together to hunt ground squirrels. We are excited to explore on the 23rd!
