The Seven Sacred Teachings
Students looked at the virtues of their animal (bear, wolf, beaver, eagle or Bison. The challenge was to connect what they know of the animal with its virtue. Our hope is that students will choose to pursue these own virtues in their own life.

Word of the Day: Tedious
We've been doing some tedious work lately. The Peace Pod took a guess at what they believe the word  means (see below for some of their guesses). A lot of their guesses changed when the word was used in a sentence.
Here is a peak at our initial guesses...

I think it means challenging so I thought building a wooden plank.

I think tedious means focus so I made some glasses.

I thought tedious means helping so I drew a picture of someone helping someone from falling off a cliff.

I think it means impatient so we made a girl walking back-and-forth. I’m being very impatient and she’s waiting for her luggage at a hotel and she’s getting impatient about it.

I think that tedious means like pretty or not ugly because it kind of sounds like hideous.

Tedious means somebody helping somebody else.

I think tedious means jealous because they (both words) sound a little same at the end and they both at the start sound different.

I think tedious means think in in your brain.

I think tedious means suspicious.
