Students
were challenged to use lines in their photographs for art today. You can see in
the photos below how the lines really draw you in to the subject.
What Can Characters Teach Us?
We began to explore character traits. Using a character from one of our read aloud's we listed all of the physical traits and then dove into the inside traits. Students were able to see how the character changed and how certain traits had to be learned.
Seven Sacred Teachings
Students learned that the Seven Sacred Teachings is a story told by many First Nations groups. Looking at each animal that students have been studying we found that each animal was represented by a particular character trait.
UPDATES
- Tomorrow we will be at TMC in the morning to watch a performance. We will be walking to TMC right at the bell time so please do not be late!!
