Book Fair

Just a reminder that our Scholastic Book Fair is open for sales to parents and students the following times: 

Wed. Dec. 5 8:30 am  to 3:30 pm

Thu. Dec. 6  8:30 am to 3:30 pm

Thu. Dec. 6  6:30 pm to 8:00 pm (Polar Express ticket holders only)

Problem Solving

Students are learning the STAR method to math problem solving. So far we have worked on SEARCHING for information, TRANSLATING the problem (show how you would solve it) and ANSWERING the problem (finding a solution and writing a sentence). We try to show what we know as many ways as possible, using: words, pictures, and numbers.
