READ-A-THON March 4-8th!
EHS is having its read-a-thon this entire week. A note will was sent home on today, with an order form attached, if you would like to have a photo taken of your child dressed as their favourite book character on Thursday, March 7th. Check out #EHShowweread on twitter.
Our day started out with multiplication. We looked at various strategies and began using our skills for multiplication word problems. In the afternoon students began by hearing a first nations story about "grandfather" rocks. They also brainstormed the different ways rocks behave and the geological history of the earth. Students will be using this information to create a story about the life of a rock. After our read-a-thon assembly we had various students share rocks from home.
