Orders
Book orders went home yesterday. They are
due by Friday May 10, 2019. Orders can be through the flyer or you can
visit the website at www.scholastic.ca/canadaclubs. For May you need to use the word CLIFFORD to get a free book under $6. Make sure that if you order online that it
is under Mr. Lawson's name.
SPRING PLANTS FUNDRAISER LAST WEEK – PLEASE GET YOUR ORDERS IN SOON! Hard copy information for the new Spring Plants Fundraiser was sent home with students on April 18/19 – everyone is encouraged to go online and view the beautiful plants that will be available in full colour on the DeVry Greenhouses website: http://ericharvie.growingsmilesfundraising.com/ Please see attached information in case it is still at the bottom of a backpack somewhere JJ Plants may be ordered online or on the paper form; payment must be received at the office either in cash or (preferably) by cheque – there are options for debit and credit payments at the office. At this point, we are not able to use online payment options.
Sales end on May 13/19 – this is a major fundraiser for the school with excellent quality plants so please share with your friends and relatives JJ 2.
PAINT NITE AT ERIC HARVIE SCHOOL THIS THURSDAY!
Paint Nite on May 9 at 7pm! Great Mother's Day Gift. Available to children (and adults) from age 6 and up. $15 from each ticket goes back to the school and an additional $50 from the venue will be donated on top of that. ! Snacks and drinks are included in your ticket. Please come and have a fun evening with us. $45/painting. MARK YOUR CALENDARS: STUDENT LED LEARNING WALK MAY 23/19
Our second Student Led Learning Walk will be held on Thursday, May 23/19 and we are looking forward to sharing our learning through our Puppet residency with WP Puppeteers! Please mark your calendars to join us from 6:15 – 7:30 pm.

Woah! Woah! Woah! The assembly is coming...this Friday...May 10...at 11am. Students are working hard to make a virtuous assembly.
OUR THIRD ANNUAL GLAZED 8 DONUT RACE WILL TAKE PLACE SUNDAY,
JUNE 2, 2019!
The Glazed 8 is a race of varying lengths for kids, adults, families, and friends that combine two of the best activities around: running & eating donuts. And, the bonus of the event is that all money raised goes towards our community - specifically, Eric Harvie Elementary School and new this year, Glenbow Ranch Park Foundation. We are in the third year of the event, have donated close to $4000 and eaten nearly 500 donuts and 2500 Timbits!
