Updates...

  • Monday is Orange Shirt Day!
  • Our next visit from the Calgary Public Library is on Wednesday OCT.10th!

Orange Shirt Day

Orange Shirt Day is an opportunity for all people to come together in the spirit of reconciliation. Orange Shirt day began in 2013 when residential school survivor, Phyllis Webstad, shared how her orange shirt was taken away on her first day at a residential school.
You can show your support for promoting reconciliation in welcoming, caring, respectful, safe, and inclusive school communities by wearing an orange shirt. You are also encouraged to tweet a photo of yourself using the #orangeshirtday and #yycbe hashtags.

Terry Fox Run

We participated in the Terry Fox Run today along with TMC school and Tuscany School. It was a great way for the community to show its support! Thank you to all of the volunteers who were able to join us today!
