Scholastic Update
Now that
Miss Scott has moved, Mr. Lawson will be in charge of all scholastic
book orders for the peace pod. Book orders are due by Monday October 15th.
Students have the option of bringing home a flyer or you can visit the website
at www.scholastic.ca/canadaclubs.
When making online
orders please make sure Mr.
Lawson's name is on the order. If you're making a paper order please
return with cash or cheque (made out to Scholastic Canada) by the due date. Thank you for supporting your child’s reading success
both at home and in the classroom!
Home Reading
Every student is encouraged to read every day at home for 10-20 minutes.
A Presentation from an Audiologist...
We had a special presentation from Sandra, the audiologist from the CBE. She taught us about how hearing loss might occur. She also shared with us a model of the ear and we learned about each part, it's name and function. We also learned about how some assistive technology has limits.
