Veterans' Food Bank Collection

In support of our veterans, we are collecting non-perishable food items for the Veterans’ Food Bank.  We welcome donations from students and those attending our ceremony on Friday.  Collection boxes will be located in the Hub

Learning About the Brain

We spent some time exploring what we think the functions of our brain our. Students were asked to draw what they think their brain looks like and to label different part of the brain. Students had very interesting insights! Check out some of the photos below!

We studied some ancient number systems today and tried to make sense of them. We compared them to our base 10 system. Specifically we looked at Babylonian and Egyptian number stystems. After learning some of the numbers we were challenged to make predictions based on our understanding of how numbers were represented. What can we learn from numbers systems from the past?
