Updates:

There is a notice coming home today about the Young Writers Conference. This opportunity is only for the grade 4 students.

Swimming

Swimming was super fun today! Some of the things we loved most about our week swimming are:

- going off the diving board - Jax

- going in the dive tank - Elizabeth

- practicing front crawl, back crawl and whip kick - Brock

- doing back floats and spiderman glides - Winter

- overcoming my fear of diving off the high diving board - Izak

- going on the rope - Kennedy

- underwater races - Anja

- using the flippers - Hannah

- diving into the dive tank - Anna

- treading water - Hunter

- underwater swimming - Breanna

- pencil dives - Aidan

- doing rocketship glides under the water - Jayah

- front rolls, summersaults, and pencil dives into the water - Ty W.

- jumping off the big diving board - Mackenzie B

Wondertime

I made a doghouse, a bone and a pee pad of cardboard, newspaper and tape for my plushy puppy - Andrew

I made a little Elsa's palace out of loose parts- Adara

I enjoyed doing basketball trick shots with Jax - Lucas

I made a little tipi out of newspaper, cardboard and tape - Julia

I liked doing zendoodling and colouring - Hema

I liked building crazy forts with Anna - Aditi

I enjoyed doing gymnastics - Mya

I liked the climbing wall - Sophia

I liked creating a marble track with Jack - Brandon

I enjoyed playing with the magnets - Maddie

I enjoyed building with loose parts - Jai

I enjoyed making a little dreamcatcher out of popsicle sticks - Rachel
