Updates
- Grade 4 students will be going to TMC tomorrow. They will leave promptly at 830 am. Please be on time for school. Grade 4 students are to meet on compound 3E outside in front of the amphitheater by 825 am. They will carry their backpacks there so pack light with only a lunch kit and water bottle if possible. They will return to school around 1 pm and have lunch at school.- Grade 3 students are to come in as we normally do.
Critical Thinking
We examined some photos today and tried to decide if they are needs or wants in life. We had interesting conversations which required critical thinking to decide the difference between needs and wants. We came to the conclusion that there are immediate needs for survival and also indirect needs that we have. A lot of the points made also referred back to Maslow's hierarchy of needs. Students recognized needs that were not only necessary for survival but also social needs.
